Paper Parking Disc CIFERNÍK with Full-Surface Printing

The paper parking disc CIFERNÍK is a promotional item designed to catch the eye at first glance. Its defining feature is full-surface printing, including the dial, with your own artwork, logo, or corporate colors – here the dial serves mainly as a graphic area, not as a precise functional element per the standard. Printing is done using offset technology in full colour across the entire surface.

Material and Finish

We manufacture the disc from 350g coated paper in a glossy or matte variant, with the surface protected by a dispersion varnish (gloss or matte). The minimum order quantity is 500 pcs. Any text can be placed on the disc, for example "A successful parking-fine-free year 2025", or entirely custom artwork.

Zeitscheibe under StVO – a Made-to-Order Variant

The German standard StVO (Straßenverkehrs-Ordnung), Anlage 3, laufende Nummer 11 zu § 42 Abs. 2 sets out precise requirements for the parking disc used in Germany (Parkscheibe, Verkehrszeichen Bild 318) – a blue frame per DIN 6171, a white rotating disc bearing the inscription "Ankunftszeit" and the symbol "P", lettering per DIN 1451, and a size of 110 × 150 mm. Crucially, advertising on the front of the disc is prohibited under this standard – printing is permitted exclusively on the back. The standard CIFERNÍK offering with full-surface dial printing does not meet this condition and is purely a promotional souvenir. For exports to Germany, or for clients who need a disc compliant with the StVO, we offer a special configuration on request: the front features a neutral, standard-compliant dial (no printing, divided into full and half hours), while your branding and artwork move to the back. This variant differs from the standard offering and must be arranged individually.

Technical Term: Ciferník vs. Zeitscheibe

In Czech, the rotating part of the parking disc is called "ciferník". In German technical terminology – relevant for future localisation of the offer – the same component is called "Zeitscheibe" or "Drehscheibe" (less precisely also "Ziffernblatt", a term more commonly used for watch faces). Knowing this distinction is useful when communicating with foreign clients.
