Privacy policy
We are Taeda services s.r.o., registered with the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, Insert 34695, Company ID 28613279, with registered office at Kosmonautů 1218/15, 736 01 Havířov, Czech Republic. We operate the e-shop at www.taeda.cz/en/.
For the provision of our services, sale of goods and operation of our website, we process certain personal data. Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.
I. Processing of Personal Data
A. Contact form and inquiry
If you inquire about our products, we process the data entered in the inquiry form.
- What data: first name, last name, email, specification of the requested product
- Why: so that we can contact you and arrange the order
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – pre-contractual negotiations
- For how long: no longer than 3 years from the last communication if no purchase is made
B. Purchase
When you make a purchase, we process billing and delivery data necessary for contract performance.
- What data: first name, last name, address, Company ID, VAT ID, phone, email, delivery address
- Why: contract performance, communication regarding the order, complaints, accounting and tax obligations
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR – contract performance and legal obligations
- For how long: for the duration of performance + 10 years from the last performance
C. AI chat
If you use our AI chat for product or purchase inquiries, we process the content of the communication.
- What data: message content, optionally name, email or order number you provide in the chat
- Why: customer support and service improvement
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR – pre-contractual negotiations and legitimate interest
- For how long: maximum 1 year from the last message
D. Newsletter
If you have made a purchase and have not unsubscribed, we send you news based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and Section 7(3) of Czech Act No. 480/2004 Coll.
- For how long: 7 years from the last purchase
- Unsubscribe: at any time via the link in the email or at info@taeda.cz
II. Who has access to the data?
Your data stays with us. However, our partners also work with it to ensure the operation of the e-shop:

- Goods delivery: GLS Czech Republic s.r.o., Czech Post (Česká pošta s.p.), DPD CZ s.r.o., Zásilkovna s.r.o.
- Payment gateway: Adyen N.V.
- Email marketing: SupportBox s.r.o., ECOMAIL.CZ, s.r.o.
- Data feeds: Mergado technologies, s.r.o.
- SEO analytics: Collabim s.r.o.
- AI customer support: Let's Whisper s.r.o.
For debt recovery, debt assignment or based on legal obligation (e.g., Police of the Czech Republic), data may be transferred to collection agencies, lawyers or state authorities.
We process data primarily in the EU. When using services of global partners (Google, Meta, OpenAI), data may be transferred to the USA based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
III. What else you should know
- We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) – the legal obligation to appoint one does not apply to us.
- We do not perform automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects. The AI chat is used exclusively for real-time customer support.

What personal data does TAEDA process about me?
We process contact data from the inquiry form (name, email), billing and delivery data when you make a purchase, and the content of communication via AI chat. Always only to the extent necessary for the given purpose.
How long does TAEDA retain my data?
It depends on the type of data: inquiries without realization are kept for 3 years, purchase data for 10 years (legal obligation for tax and accounting), newsletter consents for 7 years from the last purchase, and AI chat records for a maximum of 1 year.
Can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
Yes, at any time and completely free of charge. Just click the unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us, or write to info@taeda.cz.
Does TAEDA transfer my data outside the EU?
We process data primarily within the EU. When using services of global partners (Google, Meta, OpenAI), data may be transferred to the USA, exclusively based on a valid European Commission decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses under the GDPR.
What are cookies and can I disable them?
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Necessary cookies (for website functionality) cannot be disabled. Analytical and advertising cookies can be refused directly in the cookie banner on first visit or at any time in your browser settings.
