We are Taeda services s.r.o., registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, File 34695, Company ID (IČO): 28613279, with its registered office at Kosmonautů 1218/15, 736 01 Havířov, Czech Republic. We operate an e-shop at www.taeda.cz/en.
To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data. The processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
I. Processing of Personal Data
A. Contact form and inquiry
If you inquire about our products, we process the data entered into the inquiry form.
- What data: name, surname, e-mail, specifications of the requested product
- Why: to contact you and arrange the order
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – taking steps prior to entering into a contract
- How long: maximum of 3 years from the last communication, if no purchase is made
B. Purchase
When you make a purchase, we process billing and delivery details necessary to fulfill the contract.
- What data: name, surname, address, Company ID, VAT ID, phone, e-mail, delivery address
- Why: fulfilling the contract, communication about the order, complaints, accounting and tax obligations
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR – performance of a contract and legal obligations
- How long: for the duration of the performance + 10 years from the last performance
C. AI Chat
If you use our AI chat for product or purchase inquiries, we process the content of the communication.
- What data: message content, optionally name, email, or order number if you provide them in the chat
- Why: customer support and service improvement
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR – pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest
- How long: maximum of 1 year from the last message
D. Newsletter
If you have made a purchase and have not opted out, we will send you news based on § 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll.
- How long: 7 years from the last purchase
- Unsubscribe: anytime via the link in the email or at info@taeda.cz
II. Who has access to the data?
Your data remains with us. However, to ensure the operation of the e-shop, our partners also work with it:

For debt collection, assignment of receivables, or based on a legal obligation (e.g., Police), data may be transferred to collection agencies, lawyers, or public authorities.
We process data primarily in the EU. When using global partners (Google, Meta, OpenAI), data may be transferred to the USA based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
III. What else you should know
- We do not have an appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO).
- We do not perform automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects. AI chat is strictly for real-time customer support.

Is communication via AI chat secure?
Yes. The AI chat is operated by our partner Let's Whisper s.r.o. The content of conversations is used exclusively for customer support and service improvement. Do not enter any sensitive payment details via chat – only the secure payment gateway is used for payments.
