Parking Clocks PLASTIC – a Durable Variant with a Classic Dial

We manufacture the PLASTIC parking clock from white PVC in A6 format. Both sides are printed using highly stable UV offset printing in the chosen colours, which we then stabilise with a glossy UV varnish. The dial is fitted with a rotating pointer made of white PVC, and the materials are joined with a rivet.

Layout: Dial at the Front, Advertising Below and on the Back

The front of the disc carries a dial with a rotating pointer, leaving space for advertising in the lower section. The entire back can be used, for example, for extended company or organisation information and contact details. This is exactly how the reference order for the Jevíčko Municipal Police is designed in the accompanying photograph – a classic dial at the top, branding in the lower section and on the back.

Material and Durability

The PLASTIC version is similar to the paper variant but, thanks to PVC, offers significantly higher durability and resistance to damage during everyday use in a vehicle.

Zeitscheibe under StVO – Closest to a Genuine Parkscheibe in the Standard Range

The layout of the PLASTIC clock – a functional dial on the front, advertising kept outside this area – is, by design, the closest match within the standard range to what the German standard StVO, Anlage 3, laufende Nummer 11 zu § 42 Abs. 2 requires for a Parkscheibe. On request, we can therefore manufacture a version that also formally meets the standard: size 110 × 150 mm, blue frame per DIN 6171, the inscription "Ankunftszeit" with the symbol "P", numerals per DIN 1451, and completely free of advertising on the front – in this configuration, all branding would remain solely on the back of the disc. This is a custom adaptation of the standard offering for exports to Germany, or for clients requiring a disc that meets local legislation.

Technical Term: Ciferník vs. Zeitscheibe

We call the rotating part with the pointer "ciferník" in Czech. In German technical terminology, relevant for the future export offering, the term used is "Drehscheibe" or "Zeitscheibe" – these terms are more precise than the "Ziffernblatt" commonly used for watch faces.
