Parking Disc EURONORM – European Standard with Space for Advertising

The EURONORM parking disc follows the classic European design of parking discs: a multilingual inscription for setting the arrival time on the front, and space for your own print on the back. The disc is almost mandatory equipment for every driver in countries with regulated parking, and thanks to the advertising on the back, your logo stays in front of clients every day.

Material and Printing

EURONORM is made from a synthetic material that imitates leather – more durable than paper and visually representative. We print the back using screen printing technology.

Zeitscheibe under StVO – the Design Closest to the Official Parkscheibe

Of all five products in this category, EURONORM is visually the closest to the official German Parkscheibe. In its standard form, the front already carries a multilingual inscription for the arrival time ("Uur van aankomst" / "Heure d'arrivée" / "Ankunftszeit") and the symbol "P" on a blue background – a philosophy identical to what the standard StVO, Anlage 3, laufende Nummer 11 zu § 42 Abs. 2 prescribes for Germany. Thanks to this, we can, on request, manufacture a version that also formally meets the standard – size 110 × 150 mm, blue frame per DIN 6171, a standalone inscription reading only "Ankunftszeit", numerals per DIN 1451, and advertising exclusively on the back of the disc. This variant is a natural choice for exports to Germany, because the design philosophy of EURONORM practically matches the standard's requirements even in its default state.

Technical Term: Ciferník vs. Zeitscheibe

The rotating part with the time indicator is called "ciferník" in Czech. For exports and future i18n, it is useful to know the German technical equivalent "Zeitscheibe", or alternatively "Drehscheibe" – these terms are used more precisely in the context of parking discs than the "Ziffernblatt" commonly used for watch faces.
