Clipboards are flat boards with a clip along the top edge, designed to keep a single form, questionnaire or notepad within reach without you having to prop it up or hold it loosely in your hand. Unlike ring binders, which file a growing number of sheets, a clipboard is built for working with the document you need right now – at a promo stand, during a survey, a stock check or while a client signs a contract. The base is sturdy 2 mm KAPPA board, smooth on both sides, so the board will not bend even when you write on it without a surface underneath.

Formats and surface finishes matched to how you use it

We produce clipboards in A4 and A5 – unlike ring binders, DL is not available here, because the board is designed for a full sheet of paper rather than a narrower print item. Choose the surface finish based on the impression you want to make: glossy laminate gives a bold, vivid look, matte laminate feels more understated and hides fingerprints better, canvas or orange-peel texture adds a tactile detail, spot UV varnish highlights just part of the design, and soft-touch laminate gives the surface a velvety feel.

Choosing a clip to match how you will use it

The clipboard comes with a metal clip as standard, which reliably holds even a larger stack of sheets. If you often need a pen close at hand too, you can choose a clip with a pen holder – available as a paid upgrade, with no need to buy a separate pen. An alternative is a wire clip with a slimmer build, suited to lighter boards or for a different visual style than the standard metal version.

Printing, ordering and related TAEDA products

We apply the design to the boards with digital or offset printing depending on quantity and artwork complexity, and double-sided printing is possible with both technologies, putting the back of the board to use as well. The minimum order is 50 pieces and standard turnaround is 14 days from artwork approval, with free graphic optimisation and a data check before production included in the price.
