Product detailed description
TAEDA Custom Printed Ring Binders – ring binders with ring binding built to order for long-term document filing
Custom printed ring binders from TAEDA act as permanent storage for company documentation, contracts, training materials or business proposals that get added to over time and need to stay neatly organised for years. The D-ring binding mechanism lets you insert, remove or reorder individual sheets at any moment without dismantling the binder or damaging content already stored inside. The cover is made from 170 gsm coated paper, printed in full CMYK colour with offset technology, so your company logo or design stays sharp through hundreds of openings and closings.
Choosing the ring mechanism and size for your document volume
Pick the ring mechanism in two variants – 2-ring for lighter filing or 4-ring, which holds heavier stacks of sheets better and reduces the risk of punched holes tearing. Spine width is chosen according to the planned number of sheets, ranging across 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80 mm, with an alternative width available on request. Choose from the standard A4, A5 and DL formats, or order a fully custom size if you need a binder that fits a specific shelf or filing system. Ring binding is our standard offer for this product, but since we run the whole production ourselves, we can also build a completely non-standard binder to your specification – just contact us and describe what you need.
Protecting the print and choosing single- or double-sided printing
The full-surface offset print is protected on both sides with a glossy laminate that prevents the ink from rubbing off during everyday handling and gives the binder a smart look on a shelf or in a meeting room. Depending on how you plan to use it, choose single-sided printing, which is enough for a simple content label, or double-sided printing, which also puts the inside cover to use, for example for contact details or a short chapter overview.
Ordering, data checks and related TAEDA products
The minimum order is 50 pieces and standard turnaround is 14 days from artwork approval. Every order automatically includes 30 minutes of free graphic work to optimise your files, plus a mandatory data check before printing starts, so you avoid colour or layout mistakes. If you need ring binders faster, for example ahead of an upcoming conference, switch to Ring Binders EXPRESS with delivery within three working days. You will find the full range of printed ring binders and clipboards in the Printing Binders and File Folders category.
What is the difference between a 2-ring and a 4-ring binder?
A 2-ring mechanism is a simpler construction suited to a smaller number of sheets, while a 4-ring mechanism spreads the load more evenly across bulkier stacks and lowers the risk of the punched holes tearing. Both options cost the same on our standard ring binders.
How do I choose the right spine width for a ring binder?
The spine width depends on how many sheets you plan to add over time. We offer 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 mm as standard, and an alternative width can be arranged on request for unusual filing needs.
Can a ring binder be printed on one side only?
Yes, single-sided print is enough for a simple cover label, while double-sided print lets you use the inside cover too, for example for contact details or a chapter overview.
How long does production take and what is the minimum order quantity?
Standard turnaround is 14 days from artwork approval, with a minimum order of 50 pieces. Every order includes free artwork optimisation and a mandatory data check before printing.
What if I need ring binders faster than 14 days?
For tight deadlines we recommend Ring Binders EXPRESS, built the same way but delivered within three working days of artwork approval.
Can you produce a fully custom binder, not just a ring binder?
Yes, we handle the whole production in-house, so we are not limited to ring mechanisms only – we can build a lever-arch mechanism, elastic band or flap closure, magnetic closure and other tailor-made binder solutions. Just get in touch and we will prepare an offer.
