A card for repeated presentation, not for handing out contacts

Premium glossy cards work as a functional card in the 85 × 54 mm format that a customer carries and presents again and again — typically as a client, membership or prepaid gift card. Unlike a business card, which is handed over once when making an introduction, this card is engineered to withstand frequent pulling out of a wallet and repeated use at a till or reception desk.

Paper base and glossy laminate

The base material is 350 gsm coated paper, which after printing receives a double-sided glossy laminate covering the entire surface. This creates a smooth, strikingly shiny finish on both sides of the card, giving a client or loyalty programme a polished, representative look.

Printing and dispersion varnish

We print full colour on both sides in CMYK using offset or digital printing, whichever suits the quantity best. The printed card is then finished with a dispersion varnish, which enhances the colours and minimises the risk of smudging during everyday handling.

Rounded corners for practical use

Corners are machine-rounded on a HUAWEI HW 115 corner-rounding machine, giving a smooth edge free of sharp corners — more practical than the sharp corner of a regular business card on a card meant for daily use in a wallet.

Typical functional uses

Premium glossy cards are most often ordered as loyalty and discount cards for retail stores, punch-card calendars, or multi-entry passes granting repeated access. What they have in common is frequent handling by both staff and customers, which functionally sets them apart from a business card whose only job is a single hand-over of contact details.
