Hot foil stamping

Hot foil stamping is a finishing technique in which a heated die transfers metallic or colored foil onto a material under pressure. It creates a shiny gold, silver or other metallic effect that conventional printing cannot reproduce.

Where hot foil stamping is used

• Business cards, greeting cards and invitations,
• Presentation folders, covers and printed packaging,
• Plastic cards and tags,
• Diaries and notebooks.

Preparing the artwork

The stamping design must be vector artwork without gradients, because the foil is applied as a solid area. Very fine lines and small lettering may fill in. Before production, we check your artwork and send an artwork proof for approval.
