That makes it suitable for mailings that need to reach a customer by name without having to be folded or trimmed to fit. A DL flyer also sits just as well in a countertop display stand at a shop, standing upright without taking up unnecessary space.
The elongated shape of the DL format suits messages that read top to bottom – a logo at the top, the main offer in the middle, and contact details or a call to action at the bottom. This layout is typical for invoices with an enclosed offer, flyers inserted into correspondence, or narrow information strips displayed next to a till.
Papers and printing adapted to the narrow format
Available options are 130 gsm gloss-coated paper for bolder graphic elements, and 90 gsm uncoated offset paper as a more economical choice for purely text-based messages.
