BASECOLOR DTG Bags – two-tone cotton bags with full-colour photorealistic printing

BASECOLOR DTG bags are a two-tone variant of our popular cotton bag, where we've replaced screen printing with modern DTG (Direct to Garment) technology. The result is a printed promotional bag that can carry even demanding designs with colour gradients, subtle shading and photorealistic motifs – everything classic screen printing with its limited colour count can't achieve. The bag body stays in natural, undyed 100% cotton, while the long handle and bottom stripe come in a contrasting shade, giving the bag the same distinctive two-tone look as the BASECOLOR model.

The bag measures 370×420 mm and has a printable area of 250×210 mm, onto which DTG technology applies colour directly into the textile fibres. This makes the motif soft to the touch and resistant to fading even after repeated washing. The bag is machine washable, so it serves as a fully functional shopping bag for long-term, repeated use – keeping your promotional message visible far longer than single-use promotional items.

DTG printing: when it makes sense over screen printing

DTG technology works on the principle of digital printing directly onto fabric, similar to how an inkjet printer prints onto paper. Unlike screen printing, which is limited to a few precisely defined PANTONE colours, DTG allows an unlimited colour palette, smooth gradients, and detailed illustrations or photographs in full quality. If your logo includes a gradient, a complex illustration or more than 4 colours, DTG is the only technology that will faithfully transfer such a design onto a cotton bag.
