rPET

rPET (recycled PET) is a material made from used PET bottles. The bottles are sorted, shredded into flakes, melted and spun into polyester fibre. It is used to make bags, backpacks, lanyards and textiles.

Its properties match ordinary polyester: it is strong, dries quickly and prints well, including by sublimation. However, production uses less oil and energy, and the bottle material is reused. The share of recycled content is verified by certifications such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
