The largest format for maximum impact at a distance

We offer the A3 format (297 × 420 mm) at TAEDA as the largest standard flyer size, intended for situations where a message needs to grab attention even from a distance. Double the area of an A4 sheet allows room for a large headline, a bold photograph or a graphic motif that remains legible to a passer-by who doesn't stop to look closely.

A typical place to display an A3 flyer is a shop window, a notice board in a shopping arcade, or the entrance area of a trade fair stand, where the print effectively takes on the role of a smaller poster. The large format also works well for presenting an event schedule or a product range overview on a single sheet, viewed from a short distance away.

Materials that handle a large surface

For printing we choose a heavier-weight gloss-coated paper, which gives the sheet enough rigidity over a large area and prevents it from warping once displayed, or uncoated offset paper for more cost-effective large-format runs. Printing is handled by offset technology in full CMYK colour, and for the A3 format we pay particular attention to precise colour registration so a large-area motif looks even across the whole sheet.

An A3 flyer is printed single- or double-sided with full-bleed printing across the whole sheet, so coloured backgrounds or photographs run right to the edge. For longer-term display in a shop window, a more durable surface finish can also be chosen, extending the lifespan of a print exposed to daylight.

Quantities, deadlines and layout support

The minimum order is 250 pieces, covering the needs of a one-off campaign as well as equipping several branches with the same visual. Standard turnaround is 72 hours from artwork approval, allowing a bold display to be ready even shortly before a trade fair or seasonal promotion.

Every order includes 30 minutes of free graphic design work, useful for example for enlarging key layout elements so they stay legible from a distance. Before printing, artwork is checked with attention to image resolution at this large format, bleed and colour space.
