Product detailed description

DL flyer printing in a narrow format built for envelopes

An elongated format for envelopes and display stands

The DL format (99 × 210 mm) at TAEDA is exactly one-third of an A4 sheet, and its elongated shape matches the size of a standard long mailing envelope precisely. That makes it suitable for mailings that need to reach a customer by name without having to be folded or trimmed to fit. A DL flyer also sits just as well in a countertop display stand at a shop, standing upright without taking up unnecessary space.

The elongated shape of the DL format suits messages that read top to bottom – a logo at the top, the main offer in the middle, and contact details or a call to action at the bottom. This layout is typical for invoices with an enclosed offer, flyers inserted into correspondence, or narrow information strips displayed next to a till.

Papers and printing adapted to the narrow format

Choose from offset paper 90 g and 170 g, coated paper 90 g gloss and matt, 130 g gloss and matt, 170 g gloss and matt, 250 g gloss and, for sturdy card-like leaflets, matt coated paper 300 g and 350 g. Printing is handled by offset technology in CMYK colour, which keeps colours stable even when flyers are inserted into mailings in bulk.

DL flyers are printed single- or double-sided with the option of full-bleed printing across the whole sheet with no white border. With this format it pays to work with a vertical content layout, since the sheet's width is limited and both text and graphics need to stay legible on a narrow strip of paper.

Quantities and order fulfilment

The minimum order is 250 pieces, matching the needs of corporate correspondence as well as regular mailings to customers. Standard turnaround is 72 hours from artwork confirmation, so a DL flyer can even be built into recurring invoicing or a regular mailing schedule.

Every order includes 30 minutes of free graphic design work, for example to adapt the layout to the narrow format so text does not get cropped at the edges. Before printing, artwork goes through a check focused on correct dimensions, bleed and colour space.

Why is the DL format suited to envelopes?

The DL size is exactly one-third of an A4 sheet, and its elongated shape fits a standard mailing envelope precisely without needing to be folded.

Which papers can be chosen for DL flyer printing?

We offer offset paper 90 g and 170 g, coated paper 90 g gloss and matt, 130 g gloss and matt, 170 g gloss and matt, 250 g gloss and, for sturdy card-like leaflets, matt coated paper 300 g and 350 g. Lighter papers suit mass distribution, heavier grammages give representative and more durable leaflets.

What is the minimum order and turnaround for DL flyers?

For the DL format the minimum order is 250 pieces with delivery within 72 hours after artwork approval.

Is full-bleed printing available across the whole DL sheet?

Yes, we print DL flyers single- or double-sided with the option of full-bleed printing and no white border.

Can you help lay out text for the narrow format?

Yes, as part of the 30 minutes of free graphic design work we adapt the content layout to the narrow dimensions so text is not cropped at the edges.
