Materials & UV Protection

Standard plastic sunglasses are made from PC (polycarbonate) or AC (cellulose acetate) – both materials are lightweight, durable, and affordable. PC is more impact-resistant, AC offers better optical quality. All our sunglasses have mandatory UV 400 certification, meaning 100% protection against UVA and UVB radiation (wavelengths up to 400nm). UV filter category 3 is standard for regular sunny days (transmits 8-18% light), category 4 is for mountains and snow (transmits only 3-8% light).

Bamboo sunglasses are eco-friendly alternative with unique natural look – each piece is original thanks to bamboo structure. Bamboo is lightweight, durable, and renewable material, great for brands with eco-friendly focus. Logo applied to bamboo by laser engraving for natural effect. Wooden sunglasses from walnut or maple are another premium variant with warm organic look. Printing & Engraving Technologies

Pad printing is most common method for sunglasses – enables printing on curved temple surfaces. Suitable for simple logos with 1-4 solid colors (Pantone). Logo is sharp, resistant to abrasion, and lasts entire season of daily use. Printing area on temple is approx. 40x8mm. Pad printing works on plastic and metal frames. For larger serial production (500+ pcs), it's most economical variant. Before production, we send physical sample for approval.

Laser engraving creates elegant, durable effect especially on bamboo, wooden, or metal sunglasses. Laser burns logo into material, so never wears off or fades. On plastic sunglasses, engraving creates lighter or darker shade depending on plastic color. Engraving is premium method suitable for luxury gifts or VIP events. Full-color digital print (UV print) enables photorealistic logos with gradients but is more susceptible to abrasion – recommend for one-time events, not long-term wear. What is minimum order for printed sunglasses?

Minimum order is 50 pieces per variant (model + color). For festivals or large events, we recommend 100-500 pieces. Price per piece significantly decreases with increasing quantity – at 250+ pcs you get up to 30% discount vs. MOQ price. Contact us for specific quote according to chosen variant and quantity.

Do sunglasses have UV protection certification?

Yes, all our sunglasses have mandatory UV 400 certification according to European standard EN ISO 12312-1. This means 100% protection against harmful UVA and UVB radiation. Certificate supplied upon request. Sunglasses without UV protection cannot be sold as "sunglasses" – that's only fashion accessory without protective function.

Does print on sunglasses last entire season?

Yes, pad printing and laser engraving are very durable methods. With normal use (daily wear during summer), logo lasts without wear 2-3 seasons. Pad print may slightly fade after extremely intensive use (daily all year + frequent cleaning with aggressive agents), but engraving lasts practically forever. Recommend cleaning sunglasses with soft cloth and lukewarm water with mild soap.

Can sunglasses be ordered in our corporate colors?

Yes, for most models you can choose frame color according to your wish – standard palette 10-15 colors (black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, transparent). For custom colors exactly per Pantone, MOQ is usually higher (250-500 pcs) and price increase. Lenses can be supplied in various darkness shades and mirror finishes (silver, gold, blue, pink mirror).

Do you offer eco-friendly sunglasses?

Yes, we have bamboo sunglasses (fast-growing renewable material), wooden sunglasses from certified wood (FSC), or sunglasses from recycled plastic (rPET). Eco-friendly variants are approx. 20-40% more expensive than standard plastic sunglasses but look premium and resonate with eco-conscious audience. For zero-waste events, they're ideal choice.

Can I supply own frame design?

For standard orders, you choose from our catalog models (wayfarer, aviator, sports, etc.). Completely custom frame design made only for you is possible from MOQ 1,000-2,000 pcs because requires own mold production. Development costs are in tens of thousands. For most clients, catalog selection is sufficient and economically more sensible.

How fast can sunglasses be produced?

Standard delivery time is 10-14 working days from proof approval. For urgent events, we offer express production within 7 working days for surcharge for selected in-stock models. Bamboo and wooden sunglasses have longer production (14-21 days). Recommend ordering sunglasses minimum month before planned event for sufficient time reserve.

How to prepare logo for sunglasses?

Ideal is vector format (AI, EPS, PDF) for sharp print. Logo should be simple without too fine details – minimum line thickness 0.3mm, minimum text size 6pt. For pad printing, recommend max. 2-3 colors. Our graphic designer prepares your logo free, optimizes for sunglasses printing, and suggests best placement. Before production, you receive digital proof + physical sunglasses sample for approval.
