Materials & Widths for Neck Straps

Most common material for neck key holders is polyester, offering excellent price-quality ratio. Polyester lanyards are durable, colorfast, and pleasant to touch. For eco-oriented companies, we offer lanyards from recycled PET (rPET) made from used plastic bottles – each lanyard saves approx. 2 PET bottles. Bamboo key lanyards are another sustainable alternative with antibacterial properties and silky surface. For premium segment, we have nylon or satin key holders with luxurious shine.

Neck strap width determines logo visibility and wearing comfort. 10mm is narrowest variant suitable for minimalist design and children's events. 15mm is golden middle – best-selling width for most corporate applications. 20mm provides more space for complex logos or longer texts. 25mm is widest variant ideal for trade shows, festivals, or when maximizing brand visibility. Clip Types & Safety Features

Each key lanyard must be equipped with suitable clip for attaching items. Plastic clip is lightest and cheapest variant, available in various colors. Metal clip is more durable and looks premium, suitable for keys or heavier items. Safety breakaway automatically detaches at load approx. 8-10 kg, protecting user from strangulation or injury – mandatory for children, recommended for all. Swivel hook rotates 360° and prevents lanyard twisting.

Besides clips, you can equip neck key holder with additional functions: ID card holder (plastic card pouch) for employees with access cards, badge reel enabling card pull up to 80 cm without removing lanyard, phone loop for mobile, USB cover for flash drive, bottle opener, or metal key ring. For name or number personalization, we recommend using badge tags that we can also supply – direct personalization on lanyard is not possible, only additional engraving on metal accessories like trident clip. Print Technologies & Design

Sublimation printing is most popular method for neck key holders because it enables full-color photorealistic print across entire lanyard surface. Colors penetrate material fibers, so print won't fade even after years of use and washing. Ideal for complex logos, gradients, photos, or QR codes. Sublimation works best on light polyester lanyards – for dark backgrounds we recommend combination with white underprint. Minimum logo width for readability is 5mm text height.

Screen printing is suitable for simple logos with 1-4 solid colors (Pantone). Color sits on lanyard surface creating slightly relief effect that's tactile. Screen printing is more economical for large runs (500+ pcs) and works on any color background including black. For luxury look, we also offer reflective print (reflects light in dark), glow print (phosphorescent), or embroidery of logo directly into lanyard material – most durable but pricier variant. Key lanyard can be printed single-sided or double-sided with same or different design.

Key lanyards are shipped standard by GLS courier – delivery in CZ and SK next working day, in Germany and Austria +1 day (thus within 2 working days). For express production within 72 hours, contact us with specific request.

Personal pickup option available at our branch in Havířov, Czech Republic (U Statku 301/1, Havířov-Bludovice, 736 01), where you can view material and width samples before ordering. Opening hours: Mon-Thu 9 AM-4 PM, Fri 9 AM-3 PM. We don't offer goods warehousing for future dispatches – each order is shipped complete after production. What is minimum order for neck key holders?

Minimum order is 100 pieces per variant (combination of lanyard color, width, and print). If ordering for example blue 15mm and red 20mm lanyard, each variant must have minimum 100 pieces. For optimal pricing, we recommend ordering 250-500 pieces.

How long does print last on key lanyard?

Sublimation print is extremely durable – colors are fused into fibers, so lasts years of daily use and dozens of washes without fading. Screen print is also very durable, but after very intensive use (2-3 years) may slightly crack. Embroidery is most durable variant with 5+ year lifespan.

Can you supply key lanyards in our corporate Pantone colors?

Yes, for screen printing we work directly with Pantone colors for exact match. For sublimation, we convert Pantone to CMYK profile, which may have slight deviation for special colors (metallic, neon). Lanyard itself can be produced in almost any Pantone color – MOQ however may be higher (250-500 pcs). For standard colors (black, blue, red, green, yellow, orange), MOQ is 100 pcs.

Can I combine different widths or colors in one order?

Yes, you can. Each variant (width + color + print) however has own MOQ 100 pcs. For example: 100 pcs blue 15mm + 100 pcs red 20mm = total 200 pcs. Price is then calculated per quantity of each variant separately. For unified design of all variants, we offer 5% discount.

Do you offer eco-friendly neck key holders?

Yes, we have several eco-friendly options: rPET lanyards from recycled PET bottles (GRS certificate), bamboo lanyards (rapidly renewable resource), organic cotton material (GOTS certification). All our lanyards are reusable and long-term, which itself is sustainable approach vs. disposable alternatives.

How to prepare logo for print on key lanyard?

Ideal format is vector (AI, EPS, PDF) for maximum quality. If you only have raster file (PNG, JPG), must be minimum 300 DPI in actual print size. Logo should be simple without too fine details (minimum line thickness 0.5mm). Our graphic designer will prepare and optimize your logo for lanyard print free – included in price.

Can I order neck key holders with name personalization?

Direct personalization on lanyard (each piece with different name) is not possible. For personalization, we recommend using badge tags that we can also supply – these can be printed with individual names for each employee or participant. Alternatively, additional engraving on metal accessories like trident clip is possible, but more time and cost intensive.
